I just finished walking through the cover design process. I hired Alexandra Artiano, a local artist who helped me advertise In The Murmuring Trees, for an ad running this April in Ploughshares magazine.
I am very happy with the results, and Xlibris has approved the cover.
Now I am waiting on the next step as we bring this poetry collection to the market. It is an exciting time.

Submitted My MS for My Next Poetry Collection
I have submitted my next manuscript for publishing, I did choose Xlibris once again to help bring my poetry collection to market. The fun will now begin. It is titled: "In Season's Dream" and will be interesting to see how this process evolves. My employer the Hawthorne Hotel has been selling my first collection at the front desk and has been sold out for a month or too I think.
If you have not yet checked out In The Murmuring Trees, Amazon and Barnes and Nobel carry it on their websites, and it will also be advertised in the April edition of Plowshares magazine. You can also purchase it through the hyperlink title of the book above.
It has blown my mind a bit, with all the nice things said about the book. Which helps me to think In Season's Dream should do well. I am thinking about the book launch and thinking this will be a bit fun this time out.
My classes at Southern New Hampshire University are going well, and next semester is starting March 14. And yet, as I look out the window at the slowly melting iceberg sized snow mountain still out side, I get a sense of time moving super fast. Even as the explosive cracking ice is heard from the roof, as the sun warms it. I marvel at the changes a year brings.

Hawthorne Hotel: A Poet in our Midst
Hawthorne Hotel: A Poet in our Midst: R. Tirrell Leonard Jr. with his newly published book, In the Murmuring Trees "A Cloud" is his own personal favorite in...
Hello World, Here I am!
I know I have neglected this blog for five years, and now I have started a new one. Please check out R Is For Robert my new blog. I am planning on resuming blogging. And will strive to post at least once a month here and about the same on R Is For Robert.
Since I started this blog, I published a collection of my poetry in 2012 In The Murmuring Trees which has gotten excellent reviews. It is available at Barnes and Nobel.com and Amazon.com as well you can purchase through the link above. Hawthorne Hotel
I am also attending Southern New Hampshire University (I am supposed to be working on an essay tonight too...I am procrastinating by blogging instead....)
I have also become a fan of the blog My Name Is Not Bob and have purchased a copy of his poetry collections through amazon. I also faithfully read his Poetic Asides blog in Writer's Digest. I always learn a thing or two or see a new way to look at something from Robert Lee Brewer.
That is all for now.
Let's see if I can keep this up this time....
